51st National Square Dance Convention Corporation
Educational Grant Application for 2006
Applications will be accepted from any organization or individual in the
Convention Impact Area.
This includes Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska,
Ontario and Manitoba.
Grant money can only be given to educational activities related to Square
Dancing, Round Dancing, Clogging, Contra, Country Line and Folk Dancing. Grant
money will be paid directly to the grant
recipient upon receiving copies of paid statements and/or receipts.
Club lesson grants apply to lessons started and completed between June 10,
2006 and June 11, 2007.
Grants will be judged by their educational merit, their overall benefit to
the square dance activity, the number of people that could benefit from the
project or activity, credibility and accountability. Grants
will not necessarily provide 100% of the project funding.

Applications must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2006 and received by the
committee by March 15th. Grant applications will be reviewed and the recipients
will be announced at the Minnesota State Square and Round Dance Convention -
Federation Annual Meeting June 12, 2006 at St. Cloud, MN.
