Welcome to our web page. The Lake Promenaders club
has enjoyed square dancing for 45 years and currently has more the fifty
members from Sherburn and many surrounding communities in South West
Minnesota and North West Iowa. You are
welcome to come and dance with us. We dance on the second and
fifth Saturdays of the month from September to May at the Sherburn
Elementary School. For directions please click the link below.

Round Dancing starts at 7:00 PM and Square Dancing

Upcoming Events:
Free Beginner round dance
lessons and brush ups are currently being held on Tuesday
and Wednesday evenings, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Sherburn Elementary
School. Cuer/instructor: Doug & Sharon Kyte. Sessions take place
over for a ten week period, from September 16th - November 20th,
beginning with the waltz and followed later by two-step lessons.
Free Round Dance Review
for Phase III and Up: Sessions began September 16th with
cuers Daryl & Lorma Bebernes. Contact them for further information

Special Benefit Dance
for "Friendship Set to Music" on Saturday, November 29 at
the Sherburn Elementary School, sponsored by Lake Promenaders.
Featured caller:

Special
guests: Dee & Ken Scott from "Friendship Set to Music." Pre-rounds
at 7:00 p.m. Mainstream square dancing from 7:30-9:45 p.m. PLUS
tip from 9:45-10:00 p.m. Potluck lunch furnished by the club
