Tim Crawford – Square Dance Caller from Burlington, ON

Tim began square dancing at the age of 8, and calling at the age of 10.  He has had the            opportunity  to call at festivals around the world.  As a member of  Callerlab, he             has served on its Board of  Governors, including the office of Chairman.  Tim was also President of the Canadian Western  Dance Instructors Association, and  he has held    various  roles on Local Square and Round Dance  Associations.  Tim believes that Fun is one of the most important elements of the dancing  experience.  In his private life, Tim is married and has two sons.  He owns an Insurance Brokerage and is active in the                 Insurance Broker’s Association.  He is a pilot and owns his own plane. John & Karen Herr – Round Dance Leaders from Larkspur, CO

 John and Karen have been Round Dancing since 1985 and 1975 respectively, and have been teaching since 1987. They teach all phase levels placing an emphasis on body mechanics. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for Roundalab, John and Karen are also active members of Colorado RD Association, Denver Caller/Cuer Association, Dixie RD Council, and URDC.

John is a Software Developer/Inventor/Author including Cue Sheet Writer and Festival Program Builder. He has written a manual on RD concepts and teaching techniques.

Karen is an Elementary School Teacher, receiving National recognition in her status as a Certified National Master Teacher. In dancing, she was President of a single’s SD/RD club for many years.

John and Karen are known for their antics. However, their philosophy is to have FUN without sacrificing good body mechanics.
