Nov. 3rd, 2011 - Recently The Lake Minnetonka Communications Commission invited all the producers to enter their shows into a contest to recognize the best in community television in the lake area. Dee submitted the "t-shirt" show from "Friendship Set to Music" in the "entertainment/variety" category! Media professionals, not affiliated with the LMCC, judged the entries. At the LMCC Programming Awards Ceremony last evening, awards were presented. FSTM was the winner of the first-place award!

Thanks to Minnesota's square dancers, the square dancing TV show, "Friendship Set To Music," continues to flourish.   The staff and dancers are all volunteers; the show airs on public-access, cable television stations in many states--some are listed in our links.  If you'd like to find a club in your state, click on the "Square Dance Links for all 50 States."  If you're looking for a recipe you saw on a show, click the recipe link.

If you've never square danced and you'd like to try it, click on the "Come Dance with Us" link for upcoming beginner dances.  If you want to learn to square dance, click on "Learn to Square and Round Dance" to get a list of clubs offering classes.

If you have any questions, please click on the "E-mail Dee" link to send an e-mail to the producer.  If you'd like to visit the website for the studio where our show airs six days a week, click on the LMCC link.  While the show is airing, the show is streamed by the studio so you can watch the show on  your computer.
