Welcome to the North West Region!
The North West (NW) Region of the Square Dance Federation of Minnesota invites dancers to join us for square and round dancing. Our region includes the cites of Park Rapids, Fargo, ND Moorhead, MN, Detroit Lakes, and Bemidji as well as such ominous sounding places as Crookston, Thief River Falls, and Warroad (really very nice places). The NW Region has many scenic areas, including the Headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park.
The NW Region Traveling Banner is awarded to the club with best attendance at each regional meeting.

NW Region Heart Dance Quilt (2006)
Here is a picture of the quilt that was made for the NW Region Heart Dance raffle in 2006. Each NW club submitted a quilt block and Marilyn Olson pieced it together, and it was then quilted by a Margie Erickson.
